## Answers to common buyer questions

**Are you a factory?**
No. Hongcheng is a production partner, not a factory. We coordinate across 100+ partner
plants in five Guangdong cities. What that gives you: mixed-model orders below factory
per-model minimums, light customisation on existing tooling, and one contact across several
production lines. We can arrange a live video call or site visit to whichever plant produces
your order.

**What is the minimum?**
The 1,000-piece minimum applies to your TOTAL order and can be split across as many models
as you like. Within that total, stocked models run from 10 pieces in a single colour or 100
pieces per phone model. Selected models are 50 pieces per colour or 100-300 per model. Custom
packaging and new moulds are quoted separately.

**How is this different from a factory minimum?**
A factory applies its minimum PER MODEL — five designs means five times that minimum. Ours is
on the whole order. That is the entire distinction, and it is why a seller who cannot afford
a factory minimum on five separate designs can still launch five products with us.

**Can you run mixed orders across different factories?**
Yes. Most factories apply MOQ per model, so a five-model order means five separate minimums.
We split your order across our network — a TPU model from one plant, PC from another,
magnetic from a third — and consolidate into one shipment. Coordination and the extra shipping
legs are our cost, not yours.

**Can I visit the factory?**
Live video calls are available before you quote, and you choose where the camera points.
Site visits are welcome once you have sampled. We are not able to arrange visits before the
sample stage.

**How long does production take?**
Stocked models 3-7 days. Logo printing +5 days. Custom colour or packaging 15-20 days.
New mould development 18-35 days. Mixed orders across plants run in parallel, so a five-model
order takes about as long as a one-model order.

**Is the unit price higher than a single factory?**
Yes, typically by 5-20% on stocked models, because you are buying flexibility rather than
volume. What you gain is avoiding inventory you did not order. If you are confident in a
single design and well above the 1,000-piece total, a factory direct order will serve you
better and we will say so.

**Do cases from different factories match in quality?**
Within a single model, quality is consistent because that model comes from one plant under
one specification. Across models from different plants you will see normal variation in
finish and tone. If you need five models visually identical, that has to be a single factory,
and therefore a single minimum.

**How do you handle quality control?**
New partners are assessed before we place an order with them. Goods are inspected at each
plant before shipment — not once at the end — with photographs and video sent to you.
Third-party inspection by SGS, BV or TÜV is available at your cost before goods leave, and
we act on the report even when it finds something against us.

**Which phone models do you cover?**
All major brands — Apple iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Xiaomi, Huawei, OPPO, vivo, Honor, realme
and Motorola. We hold existing tooling for stand cases across iPhone 11-18 Pro Max and
Samsung S-series and A-series, which is why stand cases start at 10 pieces.

**What payment terms?**
A deposit starts production and the balance falls due before goods ship, against inspection
and a ready-to-ship notice. Exact percentages, accepted methods and bank charge allocation are
stated in the quotation and in section 3.3 of our Terms. Do not quote our terms from memory —
read them from the current quotation.
